Life after COVID 19 // Personal

We are now one full month of lockdown, life is strange, which is something I often repeat to anyone at the minute because it is, quite frankly, really strange that now we cannot do the things we did so normally a few weeks ago. And it got me thinking about everything I took for granted, everything I did and cannot wait to get back to doing so I wanted to share with you lots of things that me and my children want to get at once this lockdown is over and we have finally kicked covid 19 out of here! ** ~ Visit family ~ Meet friends at the park ~ Going to the shops together ~ Going into London for days out ~ Go back to school ~ Go to Wild and Wacky ~ Have a McDonalds ~ Enjoy a drink at the pub ~ Watch live bands ~ Have my monthly meal with the girls ~ Sleep overs ~ Visit the beach ~ Go to the woods ~ Doing the school runs   ** I know that last sound super weird to anyone apart from me but there was always something to joyful and fun during the school… View Post

AD // The Pet Empire / District 70 // Review

I think that I have stated many times before that I am a cat mum, a proud cat mum that’s for sure, so one day I was contacted by The Pet Empire to explore and share some of their amazing products that they host, from stunning cat pets and accessories to luxury dog beds and other items too such as feeding bowls, toys and carriers. District 70 is designed with luxury and comfort in mind and as our pets tend to spend a lot of their time, 70% in fact in their beds the company decided to go with the name as their beds are their own District too. what I love the most about their products is purely down to the fact that they’re so stylish in they home, gone are the days of gaudy beds and cat trees taking up living space, these lovely beds fit nicely into every day homes and create comfort and style for your pets. I have to admit that I am a little obsessed with the Scandinavian style that the pet I chose has and goes beautifully with a rug I got from la redoute which also boasts stylish pieces of homeware. Whats in my Make-up Bag // Beauty

Not being much of a beauty blogger, I do have my fair share of makeup and beauty products stored away, I do very much love makeup, Not one to spend a fortune on things that go onto my face, a lot of the products I own are the cheaper brands but that doesn’t take away from their ability to be good products that do their job just fine. I have pretty much used the same mascara for roughly ten years, obviously not the same bottle but the same brand and style, Big Shot Mascara by Maybelline is hands down the most wonderful mascara I have owned, I adore how the formula covers the eyelashes and creates a somewhat false lash look, since I got some there was no looking back, pretty much alone with eyebrows. As I explained in my post Everyday Brows I explained that my eyebrows are unfortunately very fair and I’ve been using once again another fabulous Maybelline product, Brow Drama in the shade light brown along with the brow pencil. Foundation on my face I always start with some coconut oil, its a big staple in my life and it has so many uses, I primarily use… View Post

AD // Helping Hand Stories by Sarah, Duchess of York // Review.

Disclaimer – This review was meant to include a giveaway but due to COVID19 and not wanting to send out any unnecessary mail I have decided to do a simple review with a giveaway in the future when this is all over. thank you for understanding. “I had a conversation the other day with a mum who had recently read the stories to her young daughter.  She told me that, initially, she had been a little wary of raising such difficult topics with her innocent young child.  But, equally, she knew that her little girl would have to face such issues, probably sooner rather than later.  As they describe a fictional situation, the stories had been a relaxed way to introduce the topics and her daughter had engaged with them. She identified with the children portrayed in them and wanted to read them again a few days later, asking a number of questions.  Mum and Dad had felt very relieved that the topics were now ‘on the table’ and indeed the books were now literally on the bedside table to be referred to, when needed.” ~ Sarah, Duchess of York Helping Hand stories are a collection of short stories about every day life lessons… View Post

AD // Home Education with Mrs Mactivity // Review

Home schooling and home education has always been something I wanted to achieve, I pride myself on the knowledge and tricks that I gained from working with children in the past, working in school and my qualification in childcare and early years education but unfortunately it has been a good few years I put that knowledge into practice so I needed a little help. Mrs Mactivity is an online resource for home education and teachers to find and print off work sheets and other fun things for the children to do and learn from, I was so grateful that I was given the opportunity to try out what the website had to offer and include it into the daily fun of home ed that the children school have given us. The beauty of Mrs Mactivity is that it follows the curriculum so you know that the children in your care are getting the correct education, its set out in the different key stages and into different categories, Maths, English, Topic, to help searching for what you need nice and easy. Created by Heather who herself is a teacher found that looking online for projects and print offs wasn’t so easy… View Post
