I am really excited for valentines day this year, for the past 10 years I have been with someone who considered buying flowers randomly or celebrating valentines was a waste of time and money but this year I am full of hope and love and excited to be with someone who like me also experienced being shut down about it all, so naturally I am equally excited to be able to do a valentines day gift guide and share with you some wonderful goodies and exciting shops which you can purchase and surprise your loved ones.
Appleyard Valentines Flowers – Flowers are by far my favourite thing to get, either from someone or even for myself, I adore Appleyard which is a online florist that you can get all sorts of wonderful blooms that can brighten your day, I have worked with Appleyard before and I just love the care they have for the customers and flowers.
Oggs Chocolate Fudge Cupcakes – Who doesn’t like chocolate fudge cakes, these delightfully moist cakes are in fact vegan which I find fantastic as they do not even taste how I expected, while they did get a little smooshed in transit you can find them in the shops to buy for your cake loving partner.
Sassy Shop Wax – I reviewed these lovely wax melts on my blog a little while ago and I find them perfect for any scent fanatic, and would be a wonderful extra gift to have during the valentines evening snuggle up on the sofa and watching a movie together.
Guylian Chocolates – Same with the cupcakes, who cannot resist chocolates, and more so when they’re Guylian Chocolates, always delicious always special, smooth and delightful, these amazing chocolates are a must to include in a gift when giving for valentines day. I think after trying these I prefer them over the usual shell shape, the little hearts are simply adorable and perfect to give to your loved ones.
Ted Baker Peony Spritz Collection – For her of course it is always worth treating the girl in your life with these beautifully scented collection from Ted Baker, coming in a stunning box that reminds me of make up brush storage. I have used the hand cream obsessively since I was gifted it and its become a firm favourite of mine.
Partner Plus Couples Vibrator – Well Well Well, I was so excited to include this one in my gift guide because for me its so out of character to include a sex toy on my blog but how can you not have sex on valentines evening with your loved one and not enjoy it, this vibrator gives double the pleasure, one for you and one for your partner and honestly I find using toys when you are getting down and dirty even more intimate and fun. flexible and enjoyable, how can you not surprise your partner with some cheeky bed time enjoyment this valentines day!
Are you like me and are super excited to be celebrating valentines day with your loved one? after being made to not do it for so long I cannot wait to treat my wonderful partner and make him feel special as he also dealt with the same issues I did with someone who didn’t want to be silly for a day and while I do sometimes agree that it is a commercial holiday, its always a delight to receive flowers and chocolates from that special someone on a special day.
What gifts are you going to treat your partner this year?
