• Holly Jolly Tag // Christmas 2020

I have not done one of these tags in years, I love doing tags as they are such a lovely way to learn a little more about the bloggers you follow and read, thanks to Mind Beauty Simplicity and her fun tag she shared on twitter that popped up in my feed, I decided to give it ago as well..

    Christmas related.. of course!

What is your favourite holiday movie? – Now, this one is a hard one, mainly because I have a few favourite Christmas movies, I have two, one is Home Alone, which is a great Christmas movie to enjoy with he children… and the other is Die Hard, yes I am one of those who think its a christmas film, because it is!

What is your favorite Christmas color? – Green? is that a christmas colour? I tend to decorate completely random colours, currently my tree decorations are gold and blue with the odd random tartan thrown in… but definitely green

Do you like to stay in your PJs or dress up for Christmas? – I like to dress up a bit, however this year I will be spending a lot of my time in my PJs because… well covid…

If you could only buy one person a present this year, who would it be? – If money is no issues then id buy my children a home, I know they aren’t one person but that’s all they want, we are stuck in a two bed flat at the minute and I wish I could just buy my own home big enough for all.

Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? – Our tradition is after dinner, its always been like this for years, however that’s when we get to my aunts house, the children however rip into theirs as soon as they wake up haha

Have you ever build a gingerbread house? – Nope never, I really don’t know what you do with them, do you eat them? we are making gingerbread men this year however.

What do you like to do on your Christmas break? – nothin’ currently with covid 19 and the fact that my town is in tier 2 there isn’t a lot to do, I take the children for walks in the local area to see all the lights, normal years we would be going to visit family and going to local events in town, this year however I think I want to play it safe, I dont want us to go back into lockdown in January

Any Christmas wishes? – For everyone too be happy, this year has been hard on us all and I just want everyone to get along and be happy.

Favorite Christmas smell? – Candy Cane, I have a Yankee Candle which is Candy Cane Forest and its my favourite at the minute!

Favorite Christmas meal or treat? – Roast Potatoes and a gammon.. Mmmm

Which holiday do you celebrate? – Not religious however we do celebrate christmas.

What are you doing for the holidays this year? – Due to England being given 5 days over the festive period to be able to have 3 house holds mixing I am having my mum, dad and step mum over for Christmas Day and then I am having a relaxing boxing day by myself which I am going to spend the day putting toys away and cleaning.

What’s your favorite holiday drink? – Gin… or hot chocolate heh

Candy cane or gingerbread men? – Candy Cane, not a fan of gingerbread men

What’s your favorite holiday/Christmas song? – Oh this one changes so often, its a toss up between Greg Lake Do You Believe in Father Christmas, Shakin’ Stevens Merry Christmas Everyone and Elton John Step into Christmas.

What’s the weirdest gift you’ve ever received? – A digital photo frame, I dont know why.

Have you ever made a snowman? – Too many times! not yet as England, or at least my home town in Essex hasn’t had snow, other places have… we just had rain.

What is your favourite winter fragrance? – Next did a festive spice which I love burning.

What is at the top of your list this Christmas? (or whichever holiday you celebrate!) – I just hope to get some new perfume.

What is most important to you about the holidays? – Family, this year has honestly been so hard on everyone and I’m glad we can actually see family for a little bit this year without the fear of spies reporting people to the police, as we all know someone does it ha! our main christmas dinner has been postponed until next year so this year I am cooking it for my mum, dad, step mum and children so it should be good.

Aah I really enjoyed doing that, and sort of miss doing these fun tags! I won’t be tagging anyone but I hope whoever reads this would like to have a go themselves as I wasn’t exactly tagged into it either hah.

I love a good Christmas tag! Home alone is such a great movie, we watched it the other day and my little one was so captivated by it. I’m also a candy cane fan, don’t like gingerbread much.

Green is DEFINITELY a Christmas colour – hello, Christmas tree? Holly? Ivy? Mistletoe? And I’m with you on Candy Cane, I have some TK Maxx candles and they smell divine. I really hope you’ll be able to get your own home soon, Sarah, that’s a lovely thing to wish for xx
